Question Data Sync. b/w 2 locations

    Hi to all........... !

Dear Friends, I have started using SugarCRM recently, and i m exploring the fetures of this s/w now a days.

It seems very intresting and i really like it.

I want to use SugarCRM at 2 locations. 1 is in New Delhi (India Office) and another is in a remote place. my motive is to run the SugarCRM simultaneously at both the places. and on regular basis, i want to sync both the data in our Delhi office. So that i can have my all the data available at our head office.

    The problem is something like:

As we have to use SugarCRM at bothe the places, the data from our remote place, should be appended in our main server. It shoud not overwrite the original database of our main server's data base. It should be appendeed.

Please Sugest me how to do this, so that i can start using SugarCRM for my company.

If both locations have internet connection you can have Sugar installed on the web server and the the same Sugar can be accessed on both places.

If just the other one or neither have internet connectin you need to use offline sync tool. As far as I know it is not available for Open source version. It comes with enterprise version and you can buy it for the pro version.

Then there is also third party offline client for Sugar called Cream

    Hope this helps.

You can try mysql replication to sync 2 databases.
