    Default Deep drill campain results

Is it possible to list, which targets of a newsletter campaign actually read the newsletter or clicked on tracking links? I know that sugar tracks that, i.e. in the leads module (under activities)

If it is possible to put those targets that clicked the opt-out link in a supression-list, would it be possible to put those who viewed and NOT opted out in a - lets say - Sales-Follow-Up-List?

    Hello,

Click into your campaign. You will see 3 buttons at the top right. Click on the one called 'view Status'. here you will see a list of everyone who viewed the message, clicked on the links, opted out etc.

Within each group is a button 'Add to target list'. Click this button to add the group to an existing target list or create a new one.

A quick glance at your web page makes me think that you should know this...

However, yes clicks are tracked through a web bug but the results are not reliable because most of the people do have pictures switched off in their mail clients thus the web bug (the pixel image) doesn't send back anything.
For all the others you can get a pretty nice overview on the status page of your campaign.

All listed results can be converted into target lists again and these target lists may be used for e.g.setting up a call list.

This said there are of course a few not so good points: you cannot see target lists in a subpanel of a contact/lead if you do not have power prospecting installed (this has changed in 5.5 fortunately).
Sugar doesn't know the concept of a call list, it can't even mass create calls. There is a tool on Sugarforge (marketing manager from Bill Convis) that may help here.

And as a bonus track: opt out in a campaign means a check mark in the person's basic data, for a newsletter it jsut means that this email address is put on on the newsletter specific suppression list and WILL receive other newsletters or campaigns.
