I went into My Account, clicked Edit and changed the list of time zones from the drop down menu. SugarCRM, I see, is set by default to GMT. Select the America/Chicago -6GMT which is one of the CST options in that list. However, when I sent an email from Sugar to another web-based email account at 7pm CST 5/31/06, my sent folder logged the sent email time at 12am. I think that my server time zone setting is EST so I wonder why the time posted at 12am 6/1/06. Can someone answer this ?
Thanks
Here's a disparate time zone display I'd like help with.
I have 3 emails in my sent box and they each show the correct local time GMT -5 for CST -- I'm in this geographical location. For ex. I sent one email at 11:22am and my sent box does show that the email was created 06-01-2006 11.22am. However, when I open one the emails, it shows the GMT time zone when the email was sent, and not the user time zone GMT -5 for CST that I expected to see. For ex. The email which was sent at 11:22am displays the following: Date Sent: 06-01-2006 04.22pm.
I would like to be consistent with my time zones and show the local time GMT -5 for CST. Could someone tell me how to change the default GMT showing in the sent email to GMT -5 for CST?
Any help welcome,
Thanks
