Can we develop a Large Scale Recruitment Applicant Tracking System using SugarCRM as Platform?

I am into recruiting business where my contacts are consultants and employers. To start off I want to develop a module to create a resume bank where I can upload and then search resumes by any searching criteria and also can dump resumes by importing/parsing any kind of file (MS Word or PDF). I also want to develop a module to publish my jobs to different job sites where I can receive resumes in my resume bank. Also would like to maintain history logs among my team, consultant and client and can track any consultant that where is he working.

With the specialized requirements you have for managing resumes you may be better off finding an existing resume software. Sounds like it could be costly to develop what you are looking for especially the parsing of any type of file.

Thanks for responding to my query. I actually am onto building a whole new CRM based out of SugarCRM but specific to recruiting purposes. There are such systems available on the internet like cbizsoft.com
Can you please have a look into it and give your feedback if such a system could be developed on top of sugarCRM?
And also the system should also be able to integrate with sugarCRM as an extension.
