Difference Open SOurce - Pro - Enterprise

I got a general question. I dont really get, what the exact differnce between Open Source, Professional and Enterprise Version is. To be exact:

What functionality will I be missing, if I use the open source version and not pay for professional ?

Hi Ralf,

There are difference between SugarCRM Open Source, Pro and Enterprise versions. There are few modules that are not present in the Open Source version but are there in the Pro and enterprise version like Ouotes module.

Well ... what the article that your link pointed to in general says is: If you are small, use Opensource, if you are midsized, Pro and if you are big use Enterprise.

But I'm a little bit irritated, that I cannot find any comparison of WHICH modules and functionality I will be missing ... So to be exact: We are a software company, sowe are interested in using the Open Source version to be able to implement changes. But exactly which functions will not be working then, that are working in the Pro version ?

Hi Ralf,

Bieing a software company, you have taken a good decision to go with Sugar Open Source.

The modules that you will be missing in the Open Source are Quotes module and Reports modules. You can also explore the differences between the Sugar versions i.e. Pro, Enterprise and Open Source, in the Sugar demo.

But the link says document management in the pro version, but in fact it is in OS.
