Display in Portal?

"Display in Portal?"
I was curious what this option does and how can I use it.

I believe this is only applicable if you are using Mambo as your self-service portal. I am using Mambo 4.5.3 with Sugar 3.5.1 and have installed the Sugar registration, cases and bugs components in Mambo.

If I update a case in Sugar and check "display in portal" the record will show up for external users.
