Default Do you put vendors into accounts?

Ok.... so at first I setup our vendors into the Accounts. So when I created contacts for the vendors, they would be linked to an account. This was useful because when I click on Contacts, I can see what company the Contact is from very easily.

Recently we setup the Sugar Quickbooks integration module. So it pulled all of our accounts into the Clients area of Quckbooks. So I decided to delete all the vendors from accounts and leave it only for our clients.

So now its hard to tell which companies most Contacts work for. Only the contacts for clients are easy to see.

So do you guys put your vendors into Accounts? If not, how do you define what company a contact works for? I wish there was a "Company" field in contacts.

Any word on a vendor module in sugar?

Sorry if some of these questions are amaturish and have been answered before. I am new to Sugar and these forums.

    Thanks,
    Alex

I like to think of the "Accounts" table as a company table.
Any company we interact with goes there.

    Hi Alex,
I am trying to find out how to integrate QB and SugarCRM. Very little definitive info on the forum... much talk that leads me to think it's not an option for now. Yet today you've mentioned you're doing it and you mention a "Sugar Quickbooks integration module".

I would really like to know where I can get that from? Please advise...

    With thanks,

    Jonathan
