Default dropdown custom field in Studio

I am using Sugar 4.5.1b Open, Windows 2003 Server, XAMPP, Apache 2.2.3, MySQL 5.0.27, PHP 5.2.0

When I create a custom field as a dropdown and place it on an edit view, the drop down displays as a multi-select only. I have created several and they all turn out to be multi select boxes instead of a dropdown menu.

Am I doing something wrong, is this the way it is supposed to behave, or is it a bug?

    Thanks

    Hi
I think u did some mistake while creating the custome field. Wht I feel u had select the data type "multi-select" instead of "dropdown".. Do one thing , just detete the custom field and recreate it and select the data type as "dropdown"..

    Subrat..

    Thanks Subrat,

I had tried that several times with no luck. I tried it again, this time clearing the cache and it still did not work. I also tried to create a test dropdown from an ecisting drop down list (account type) and it still displays as a multi select.

    Any other suggestions?

    Regards
