duplicated tasks when converting leads

Hi

When we convert leads to contacts and in the process, creating accounts/opportunities, the open tasks associated with the leads are also carried forwarded to contacts/accounts/opportunities.

The issue is that we will then see duplicated open tasks. One task will appear on leads/contacts/accounts/opportunities and in the task list, the same task appears 4 times.

does anyone know any way to avoid this? We can certainly delete the duplicated tasks but it is just a bit annoying. It would be good if there is an option to allow only one task to survive the conversion rather than simply duplicate them in each module.

You should comment all lines regarding "clone_history" into modules/Leads/ConvertLead.php.

This does work. To avoid having duplicated opened tasks, it seems that we have to remove cloning for contacts/accounts/opportunities all together.

The only flaw is that the original tasks will still remain with leads although leads have been converted to contacts.
