i'm searching for an easy way to compose letters including history using templates (as it is in the email module).
i tried the mail merge using zuckerreports and it worked quite well for me. i missed to things:
a history of written letters and a kind of short cut from the contacts module (something like a button associating with the matching contact).
is there any easier way to compose letters ? i thought about a copy of the email module including templates, but not sending an email in the end but download a rtf file or something similar.
i searched for a suitable plugin, but didn't find any.

i'm using SugarCRM OpenSource Version 4.5.1e and zuckerreports 1.7
