I really like how Sugar ties lots of different things together. In this particular case, I find myself tying emails to two different things, the contact the email came from and the account the contact belongs to. Because the contact is already recorded in the database as belonging to the account, it seems that Sugar could take the attitude that emails related to a contact would automatically be related to an account that the contact is related to. It doesn't seem to, however, so I have to enter that additional relationship manually.
So here's the question:
Is there a way to configure Sugar to take this attitude, and ensure that the email panel for an account displays not only the emails directly related to the account but also the emails related to contacts related to the account?
Or is this really material for a custom report?
