    Default Email problems

    Hi,

    There seems to be lots of bugs in Sugar CRM. One I noticed today was in the Email module; where if you select "monitor folder" and specify the folder; the system reverts back to the default (inbox) everythime you edit the email options...

    It might not sound mission critical - but it causes all sorts of problems with less technical staff.

    That's a fact, there are bugs in the email interface and make it unusable for me. I'm using OpenWebMail just for the mail... but there is no link between them. Waiting for a more stable update of this email client under SugarCRM.

    Sure thing Yves,

    I'm thinging about laughing the entire email module off - it's far too problematic...

    I've been looking a Zuker Mail (email add on to Sugar CRM) but even after paying for a license - there are compatability issues with it - especially when Sugar updates are implimented... You have to go without your Zucker Mail working properly until there is a Zuker update.

    This is what you get with Open Source though - you generally get what you pay for I suppose...

    Exact ... I'm looking for a solution provided by Info@Hand ( http://demo.longreach.net ). It is more stable but it is a commercial soft too, based on SugarCRM. The email client look like more stable and use the same java client used with OpenWebMail and imap protocol.
