Emailing Target List

Hi,
I often want to email a target list - creating a campaign is fiddly and is actually not what I wnat to do. I can't see how to do it.

Does anyone know if we can achieve the effect of selecting 'To->Target List' in the email window?

Many thanks for this. I realise that if I created a campaign for every group email I could do it.
When I try to get other people in our organisations to use this feature they find it too complex and long winded, because in truth most group emails are not campaigns as such and all that is required is that there is a log of the email sent in the history of the contact.

What I am after is a way of sending an email to a group with the same ease I can in Outlook. In this way more day to day emails will eb sent inside sugar rather than from outlook or other email programs and this will be a good thing for locating key tasks inside Sugar.I can't see a technical reason why this should not be simple.

Is it just me?

No, it's not just you. I agree, to use SugarCRM as an email client it really needs to be able to send emails to a mailing list without going through the process of setting up a campaign - being able to send from the SugarCRM mail client to a Target List would be a good solution.

Please let me know if you've found a solution or made any progress on this.
