    Default Employee Terminated. How do I reassign leads?

    Hi,

    We terminated an employee. I can't figure out how to reassign his leads. I'm sure it's fairly simple, but can't figure it out. Can anybody please give me some pointers?

    Hello,

    I dint find a way to assign records in Community Edition.
    So found an alternative.

    Keep the User active, search for all his leads using advance search.
    Use mass update feature to assign records to other user.
    And then mark that user Inactive!

    Would appreciate if someone else has a better solution!

    In Sugar Professional, you have the Reassign Records function in the User Management admin screen that allows you to reassign all records (leads, contacts, etc) for a given user.

    Hi, I have created a script for this case when a user is terminated because we are using sugar crm v4.5 pro and this feature is not available on this version. I have test it under linux, command line script and its working fine and also it send a summary email with what has been done. If you are going to use this for sugacrm community ed. you might need to do some modifications on the script. I have attached the script on this post.
