encrypted documents

Hi to all,
I'm working with Sugar 5.5.0.
I hope somebody can help me.
When I create a new document and I attach a file, it is saved in cache/upload.
You can encrypt the file saved?

There is no native functionality to encrypt saved documents.

Hi martina,
Its relatively straightforward to implement an encryption (DES/triple DES) but I ma not sure of your requirements.
If your concern is secure data transfer over the net then HTTPS is the answer. If you are storing government secrets on your server then see this site for a DES code in PHP.
