    Default Entourage or Mac work-around

I actually posted this in the outlook plug-in forum, but its probably more apt here.

The main thing stopping me from definitely deploying SugarCRM to our work force, is the lack of plug-in for anything Mac based.
Several of our most important users unfortunately use Macs.

I'm thinking of setting a VM ware machine up with outlook running to sync their items between SugarCRM, thus they would then see it in Entourage. I'm not sure if the Outlook plug-in could cope with the auto-sync required - I'd want all Calendar and Contacts to be automatically replicated, and I think you have to mark them. Any ideas if this could work?

Any other ideas on how to sync their exchange data with SugarCRM?

    Cheers.

Entourage and Mac OS X Mail, iCal and Address Book are now fully supported by Riva Integration Server for Exchange. Riva provides server-to-server integration between Exchange and SugarCRM and therefore is not dependent on the Outlook plug-in for synchronisation. Check out Riva Integration Server at:
    http://www.omni-ts.com/crm-integration
    http://www.omni-ts.com/crm-integrati...omparison.html

Riva is compatible with all versions of SugarCRM and other leading CRMs. Because the synchronisation is server-side, Riva provides native support for all Exchange clients including Outlook, OWA, Entourage, Mac OS X Mail, iCal, Address Book and all mobile devices without installing any plug-ins on the workstations or applications on the mobile devices. Riva is also available as a hosted solution:

    Best regards,

    Aldo

I'm glad to say that the upcoming release of Windows Live Messenger, currently in beta, delivers the new A/V protocol that enables us to deliver A/V support in Messenger for Mac. It is cross-platform compatible and will work with Windows Live Messenger. This is a huge milestone that will enable us to continue moving forward with Messenger for Mac development.
