My COO just got an email from Saleforce.com that reads as follows:
10 Users for $995/Year
5 Users for $695/Year
Manage Customer Relationships for as Little as $9/User/Month
Ready to evolve your business beyond manually updated spreadsheets? Now’s the time to get started with CRM… For a limited time, Salesforce.com Team Edition starts at just $9 per user, per month!
My COO is drooling over this - he took it for a test drive and found the reporting features. We've been using SugarCRM open source, but our Sales Manager cries about the lack of reporting and the COO is getting pretty tired of handing out tissues. I looked in the Sugar On-Demand demos and with a quick glance, I couldn't find anything as flexible or easy as the screen grab below.

What is killing me in trying to defend SugarCRM (even upgrading to paid version) is that it costs more than Salesforce.com's Team Edition (given the discount) and worse, it provides LESS out-of-the-box reporting.
Sugar - help me out here.
