Maybe I am missing something here, but wouldn't it make sense to export opportunity information to OXF or QIF formats for easily importing the information to various accounting packages? Basically a closed opportunity would be exported to the accounting software and entered into an income account for the sale (and possibly be processed for billing at that point).
I understand that the accounting itself is beyond the scope of a CRM, however, a CRM should be able to integrate with other systems to collectively build an ERP.
Thoughts, comments, suggestions?
