try to customize the export.php file you can export reports as xls

Sugar has no a built in export to xls feature.
When you export to csv you can open this file in excel without big deal.

I need the xls format because need to format the output in a standard format. i guess ill just write my own custom function and overwrite the csv.

Ishaan, you can define the fields in projects.php file in modules/projects folder. You'd have to be good with SQL to write a custom query.
