Exporting Contact List Timing Out

I have attempted to export my contact list of 41000 people and when I do so it times out and I a HTTP 500 Internal Server Error page. Is that too many to export? Any clues?

I am using SugarCRM 5.2.0c CE and have just finished purchasing Pro from Sugar.
