FAQ on using Sugar

Is there an official or unofficial FAQ to the various modules within Sugar from the perspective of a user? I am looking for a document that I can pass on to my users so that they can look up questions on how to convert a lead to a contact, how to setup their email configurations, how to create a campaign, how to schedule a meeting, etc etc.

Has anyone out there compiled such an FAQ on Sugar that I can get hold of?

I wrote the User Guide - and it is not very procedural - as you would want for your examples.

I have a book coming out in February - "Implementing SugarCRM: A Practical Guide for Small Businesses" - and it has much more tutorial / procedural content - how do I ...

Thanks for letting me know about the book. Yes, it seems like I talk to a lot of people and they all say that there is a lot of new functionality in 4.0, but we still need to look into what it is and how it works. Someone here was giving an example of first creating a bounce inbox so that outgoing emails can be set up. I do not recall reading that in the guide.

So my point is, the people with the knowledge need to help us understand not only the features better, but how to use it. The support forums here are great, but not everyone is going to come here and ask questions. Some will get frustrated after reading the guide and just give up. I'd hate for Sugar to be like IBM - have great products but inadequate documentation.

I'm not a Sugar pro, otherwise I would have liked to participate in writing a more procedural user guide with accompanying screenshots with filled in values. However, maybe some of the powers that be can help us in this field. Personally, for me, it would be great to have "examples" of how to use a Campaign, or how to setup your email configurations for Yahoo or Exchange or whatever. Another idea is to use a product like "DemoBuilder" to create "movie tutorials" of moving from screen to screen, clicking on buttons, typing in values and then making flash movies out of that for each module. Users can then easily see what needs to be done and follow along to achieve results.

Using DemoBuilder or another such product is a MUCH cheaper way to accomplish this in a FEW days rather than capturing screen shots and writing a Word doc on each module (although Longreach, I'm sure everyone will look forward to your book).

So please - any takers on creating video tutorials on each module - atlteast to start off with, the more complicated ones - Email/Inbox/Grp Inbox and Campaigns?

I think it would be a great addition to the open source community to get a video based user guide.
