Hello!

I'm new to SugarCRM. I have installed it already and played around a bit, but not very much. I have some questions before going deeper:

1. Is it possible to use different databases than MySQL? For example PostgreeSQL?
2. If not, is it possible to upgrade from OS to Professional or Enterprise Version without any datalose or something like this?
3. We will have more than 10.000 Contacts and I suppose more than one call / meeting / email and so on per Contact. I'd like to use the following hardware: Dual-CPU, 2x1GHz, 1GB RAM. Is this hardware fast enough? We don't want to long for pages comming up (more than 2sec is not ok, I think). I'm asking because I read some other Threads dealing with these issues. Maybe PostgreeSQL is faster?!
4. What excatly does the Word-Plugin? We want to create some letters and bills for our customers. For bill creation I can write some own module (I read about it in another thread, maybe one can do it together). But I think exporting the bills into Word is a good idea because with something like PDF you are not able to change things later.
