Default A few things encountered after upgrading to 3.5.1d

    Hi everybody,

I didn't see anybody else talk about this, so I'll bring up what I encountered after upgrading to Sugar 3.5.1d last Friday.

    1) When I click on the Leads tab, I get this error message:

Error retrieving Lead list: Query Failed:SELECT leads.*, users.user_name assigned_user_name FROM leads LEFT JOIN users ON leads.assigned_user_id=users.id where leads.deleted=0 ORDER BY name asc LIMIT 0,20::MySQL error 1054: Unknown column 'name' in 'order clause'.

    2) When we try to create a a New Case and then we attempt to attach an Account to the Case, nothing happens. I'm not sure whether this problem was before or after the 3.5.1d patch.

Prior to the update, we had Sugar 3.5.1. We have MySQL 4.1.11 as the database.

    Thanks.

I would like to add a few more bugs we saw:

    1. You can't delete users from the system once they are added
    2. Importing even small CSV files of 300- 400 records produces an error message right after the finish button and seems to hang the application. It appears that only partial amounts of the records (in our case ACCOUNTs) are imported

First, is 3.5.1 inteneded to be a production release?
Seoncd, Is there a list of bugs found in 3.5.1 with possble assignements and fix dates?

IT's hard to trust putting the 3.5.1 version even in beta testing right now given what we are experiencing.
Any help on where to look in Sugar Forums would be greatly appreciated.

Well after a little bit, I decided to give SugarCRM's Customer Support a call to see the progress of my email about the above problem.

All that seemed to be needed for the first problem was to log into Sugar with the affected account, then click the "My Accounts " Link in the top right corner and then click the "Reset to Default Preferences" Link. This will log you out of Sugar, so just relog back in and try clicking the Leads Tab.

To solve the 2nd problem, the SugarCRM Support Agent requested that I send him my EditView.html file (in the modules directory under the Cases sub-directory), which he edited and sent back to me. I tried to add the account into the New Case and the Account Name went into the Account Name text field as it should've.

    In response to mhilliard:

    1) From my time with Sugar, it seems that there was never a way to delete users off Sugar once you created them. This seems like a definite feature request that may be useful.

    2) With regards to this problem, I would either send SugarCRM Customer Support an email describing this problem. If you need a prompt response, definitely give them a call.

I believe that 3.5.1d is supposed to be an update patch to take care of some bugs, however it may stir up some unwanted side effects. I hope this answers your question.
