We're looking at Sugar as a possible replacement to our existing CRM.
We allocate all our customers a subscription code which is to be typed in manually. There are c. 20,000 of these. Is it possible to validate this on entry?

Yes. You should be able to do that with some AJAX (or other technique) within the page where you would be entering the subscription code.
