Fields does not load in studio

I have just loaded Sugar 5.2.0k and am trying to customise fields in leads and accounts for greater relevance to my business. I login as an Admin user, go to the studio, leads and then click on the field icon and double click. However all i get is "loading page, please wait" message appearing at the top of the page but nothing loads. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Look in your sugar.log file and see if there are errors being logged in there.

Use Firefox.
Install Firebug.
Enable the tabs console, javascript, network.
Try to reproduce this issue using Firefox.
Hopefully you will see a error message at the right bottom corner of screen.
Let us know the error.

I have same problem pressing FIELDS does NOT show fields (tells loading page please wait and ...done).

Any help?

Hi....

just try this two things:
1) change the permission of calling javascript files

2) change php version(5.1.1 to 5.2.0)

may this solve the problem

The Notices you have reported from your error_log are due to your php error_level value and aren't releated to your problems.

If the uninstallation process didn't exit with error we haven't any clue.

So first you can try to clean manually the cache (removing the dirs 'cache/modules' and 'cache/smarty').
Then, I think the best thing you can do is to compare one of your working insallation (better if it's the same 5.2.0k release) with this one and find out what has gone wrong during the installation / uninstallation.

Hello there.

I'm having the same problems in a fresh installation of SugarCRM 5.1. Everything inside the studio shows up just fine, but when opening the "fields" of any module, it just says "Finished" on the top, but without displaying anything.

Firebug is showing the following error in the console tab:

parseJSON
YAHOO.lang.JSON=(function(){var 1=YAHO...javascript/yui/build/json/json-min.js


Any ideas?
Oh and I'm working on a local Windows XP machine with the current Version of PHP and Apache.
