File Upload Field

Hi guys,

I am trying to find a way to create a file upload field for opportunities (or any other module)

Basically I need the option to have users upload compulsory files to an opportunity (so .doc and pdf's and so on). There needs to be about 8 file upload fields that are compulsory, to make sure that the users upload all the right files.

I have looked at https://www.sugarcrm.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26723 but couldnt really make it work (the photo field doesnt show up in the 'add field' drop down in studio, and also this looks more specific to photos). I've also looked here http://www.sugarcrm.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25812 but they suggest using the history panel and adding a note/attachment that way which is not what i need. I have also looked at http://www.sugarforge.org/projects/inventory-items/ but this is for inventories and is not what I need.

Anyone created or knows of a solution? Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you looked at the Documents module ... build a many to many relationship between Opportunities and Documents ... then you can upload, segment and version control Opportunity related documents

I need it to be part of the whole form... so the fields need to appear with all the other fields. I dont want the user to scroll down to subpanels and add it that way, as they can forget to do so.
