The first SugarCRM New England users group meeting was held last week. Thanks to athenahealth and Avid for sponsoring the event. The event was held at athenahealth's facility and the food was great!

It was a good showing for our first meeting. athenahealth opened the meeting by describing their experience as one of the most significant SugarCRM implementations.

John Roberts and Cameron Jackson of SugarCRM gave us a peak into the future directions of the product and the company.

There were customer presentations from Avid and BZ Results describing how their implementations were set up and are functioning today including many interesting statistics.

Blue River and other consultants discussed their experiences with implementation.

It was great to see this off-line community starting to form.

The next meeting is being planned around LinuxWorld in Boston this April. If you are interested in more information or participating let me know.
