First time installation - help please

Hi

Sugar CRM has been highly recommended to me, but I am having trouble installing it.

I want to install on my pc and then add it to a network of 6 office pc's. I downloaded version 4.

The instructions advise to unzip the program into the server file. I do not have a server. What must I do?

Download the Sugar Spike installer.

It'll install everything you need to get started on your local pc without needing a server.

Do you really want it on your local PC?
If yuou have SUgarCRM running on your local PC, you will have to make sure that you don't ever reboot or otherwise mess with your local PC, as it will cause problems for people accessing Sugar at the time. Also, you then have a web server and database server running on your local machine, taking up resources.
You really need a dedicated machine for Sugar.
