Functionality of 'only my item' in Searching page

Hi, SugarCRM members. what is the main functionality of 'only my items' in searching page? and how can we modify it? and Please provide any other details.

Hi kodikarthi,

the function "only my items" in the search page is used to :

Each record (accounts, contacts, leads...) is assigned to a single user (and a team in the Pro or Enterprise versions).
In the search page, when you select the "Only my items" checkbox you will only see the records assigned to the you (user logged in).
This is something that you can't modify unless you go to the studio and clear the field.
You can also combine this search with other field search like in accounts module : all prospects assigned to me if I'm a Sales person.

Hi ,

I guess the script " if(isset($parms['my_items']) and $parms['my_items'] == true) " in SearchForm2.php is the script to control the "only my item" search.

Is possible to combine with a accounts_cstm field when click the "only my item" radio buton to search the accounts if I add a custom field liile "another_assigned_user_c" to "accounts" module?
