Default Getting Started with TeleSales and Sugar

I have imported a Client Call List into SugarCRM (Version 5.0.0b (Build 3150) on Debian Linux) into my Leads list. I created a campaign but don't see an easy way to make cold calls and log the status for followup calls. Am I missing something. How does an agent manage an outbound call list?

I have looked around and don't see an easy way for a tracking calls and then converting them easily to an opporutnity? It all looks cumbersome to the calling agent?

Thanks in advance, Any hints appreicated,

    Tom

crimmint - I'm running into the same issue, did you ever get a response to your question?

    I'd like to know too.

I'm a newbee, from my understanding I see this two approach :
In the two case you get result if your target list are assign to your targets or lead to the campaign...

1a- Start from your target, make a call, if the person is interested, click convert target. Save, click the lead entry, and convert Lead. The convert lead form make you easily create an accound and opportunity in the same form. I think you'll see the result
b- if not interested, write it in the description field or assign it to a new prospect list, liked "called"

2- The other approach would be to import all your target as lead and assign them to a target list. From the Lead form you've got more information and you can directly use the magic "convert Lead" button in one step instead of two. But you might not get correct result for "lead created" in your campaign results.
If not interested, you delete the lead or assign it as dead.

Interested in knowing your solution. Thank you
