Hi folks, I just installed Sugar CE and have noticed that the email integration is rock solid with my own SMTP email server, but have found Gmail to be very sketchy and intermittent.

I found that my old, frequently used gmail account worked fine with test emails, but new freshly created gmail accounts did not work at all. IMAP was enable for all accounts. I even tried one from a different IP.

I would really prefer to have my employees create and use gmail accounts. Is there any hope? Anything I am overlooking or can do? Can I use SMTP with gmail instead of IMAP? Anyone else notice poor reliability using gmail with Sugar?
