yea, i just did it and it worked.
Folks,
On sugar 50f I've tried to configure sugar email to use my gmail acct with NO success.
I started with "Prefill Gmail Defaults" then changed the port to match the port I use in Thunderbird (587 vs 465). I also tried using the port 465.
I consistently get "unable to connect to smtp".
Can someone give the exact config they've used to do this.
Thanks
Les
I'm new to sugar and will be using gmail, how do you configure sugar so that mail deleted from the Sugar inbox does not delete it in gmail?Originally Posted by jitchavan
Perhaps it needs to be driven through thunderbird?
Please advise
I'm fairly new to sugarCRM. Does anyone know how to set up the Gmail interface with a company's POP3 mail server? I'm sure it can be done (just as Salesforce has seamless integration with Gmail and Google apps...). I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!
