Google chrome - forum displays strangely

I have just started playing with google chrome

I find this forum works much faster for me with chrome than firefox

but it displays differently

In firefox & IE at the top I see

User CP Members List Latest Posts Today's Posts Quick Links Search

But in Chrome I get

User CP Members List Search Latest Posts Mark Forums Read Open Buddy List

Any idea why this is happening?

Chrome also behaves differently with thread-specific controls: "Thread tools", "Search this thread", "Rate thread", "Display modes" all link to menus at the end of the page, while Firefox shows those menus as popups.

I wouldn't investigate too much on these difference, Chrome is still in Beta after all.
