Great filtering... and then?

When i first saw the filtering possibilities in the accounts- contacts-, lead-s and prospects module i thought: GREAT! This can mean a lot of timesaving compared to the way i do things now. But i soon realised i couldn't actually do anything when i was finished filtering... i could only assing someone to the remaining items and, after the installation of powerprospect (thanks for that), assign the items to a prospect list.

I think these great filtering capabilities have a lot of potential that isn't used. For instance: i would like to assign the selection to a project, mail everyone (in the 4.0 beta you can i believe) with an email template, change details for all of the selected items at once, save my filter or save my selection, etc.

I've searched a lot on these forums but i couldn't find what i was looking for.

Keep up the good work, the 4.0 beta looks great!
