Hi Adi!
Import your contacts into Admin and make a mass update of contacts you want to view in my account( users account)
just click only my account then , you will find only your contacts in contacts list .(if you are having Community version )
or you can import contacts in various users account also

hope it may help you
Regards
Shailendra

Dear Shailendra

Thanks for reply

See what i am doing is
Login as Admin
Then Contacts>Import
Then attach my crv file (my crv file having 44 columns (Fields) and 648 rows(Contacts)) and click import
but it shows only 6 fields while importing and imports only 1 record (which is of Admin)
i dont understand why it wont import whole records.

Please give needful help

ok!
Under Import Result you must be getting some error message like this

/*Success:
1 Records created successfully
60 Records skipped due to error
Download List of Errors
Download records that could not be imported. */

Now if u will click on first option then u will find the path where u will have to see the error
it would be --> access /cache/import/error_1.csv

so open your Site control panel and go to crm or sugar/cache/import/error_1.csv file there u can see what are the problems, rectifies those , and have a successful import

it may help

Regards
Shailendra

Import Step 1: Select Data Source and Import Action

What is the Data Source? *
Comma delimited file
Fields Qualified By: None
Tab delimited file
Custom delimited file
Fields Delimited By: *
Salesforce.com
Microsoft Outlook
Act!
Import Action *
Create Records
Create and Update Records

Then

Import Step 2: Upload Import File

Many applications allow you to export data into a Comma Delimited text file (.csv) by following these general steps:

1. Launch the application and open the data file
2. Select the Save As... or Export... menu option
3. Save the file in a CSV or Comma Separated Values format

Select file:
File destination
Has Header: I tried both ways checked and unchecked

Then
Import Step 3: Confirm Fields and Import

Here i found
In Column
Database Field
Header Value
Default Row
Row1

and only 6 rows are there or u can say only 6 database fields are there
and as i told you that i have 44 feilds and 648 records

please guide me in step 1 and 2 where i am doing mistake
