Help on restricted lead management

Hello everyone , i have done setup of sugarcrm and just checking out all its features . I have gone through almost all settings of role management and most of them are perfect . What i need is a role for external officers who can just view leads assigned only to them and edit only a few fields ( didnt got this working yet ) . If i give them edit access then they can change state of lead later also . I am looking for something like my agents enter leads to system and assign lead to one of external loan officer accounts ( got this working ) . I want loan officer to login and be able to view only leads assigned to them alone ( got this working too ) . However if i give them edit permission they can convert lead but even after converting lead they can still change status of lead anytime . If i dont give them edit permission they are not able to convert the lead . I want them to be able to view lead and convert it but once its converted they should not have edit permission to lead . Is this possible with sugarcrm ?? Please provide me some hints/tips/tricks to get this working since i am new to sugarcrm . Thx in advance

How did you set it up so that your LO's can only see leads assigned to them?

As of yet I have not found a way to restrict certain fields in SugarOS. ZuckerHierarchy works great for limiting what certain users can see. I tried TeamsOS but it didn't work for me.

Hi all, just as an FYI: field-level ACLs is introduced starting in Release 5.0, which is due within a few weeks, in the Professional and Enterprise editions (not available in Community Edition).
