Help setting up a report

Hi,
I am new to SugarCRM. we have recently purchased sugarProfessional5.2 and was considering to create some sales reports. My questions are
1. "Can we create a staked Bar chart in SugarCRM?" (Actually I need to create a couple of reports displaying monthly sales by teams (so we have Month on X axis, Value on Y axis and staked bar showing value for every team)
2. Can we generate reports displaying cumulative sales data (for example in January sales are 1.1 miliion and in Feb .93 Million and in march 1.41 million - so Can we create a cumulative report and track how we are deviating or meeting our targets?)

Any ideas/insights will be good to have!

Hi rkumar,

Being new to SugarCRM, you should start with some experimenting in the Reports module. If you have the onsite version of SugarCRM, you could set up second installation (with demo data) to practice. It's helpful to have a lot of data to make reports.

It also helps to approach reporting with an open mind. For example, it is sometimes not possible to achieve the exact graph you want, but you can make a slightly different one (or two) that is (are) just as informative. Note, too, that you can create Dashlets with charts from Reports. This is very handy.

Regarding your second question, you might take a look at the Forecasting module to see if it can help you achieve what you want.
