Hosting for Sugar

Hi there,

We have just launched a new hosting service for sugar users at www.vhost.org.uk. We are interested to know what experiences Sugar users have had with their hosting so that we can make sure our service accommodates Sugar users. If anyone has any comments we would be pleased to read them!

Hi Patrick

I have read several threads from users dealing to issues regarding hosted system.
Some issues are related to non-writable permission, old php installed.

Make sure it is easy to have access to the files and make the folders writable for the user under which apache runs and make sure the installed php is a new one, 5.1 or newer.
SugarCRM 5.5 to be released in December only will support PHP 5.1 or newer and SugarCRM 6.0 to be released next year only will support PHP 5.2
