Hosting SugarCRM: Professional with a 3rd Party Linux Hosting Company

We are considering SugarCRM: Professional on a 3rd Party Linux hosting company and need to know any limitations or issues we might face. Will we be able to use all of the functionality? What about the cron jobs? Performance? Is this a bad idea? Should we only host on-site?

Any suggestions or companies to recommend?
