how to add other modules to subpanel

PL. Help. I'm new to sugarcrm.
This is what I'm trying to do in community edition 5.5
I have the contacts module. when I go to its sub panel, I see only
cases,
documents
direct reports
campaigns.
and I want to remove the direct reports and campaigns

and

I want to show few other modules there like:
notes,
emails,
calls

How to do this?

You need to create an extended layoutdefs for Contacts and unset the subpanels.
Regarding the supanels Notes, Emails and Calls I suppose you can see the subpanels History and Activities, under which you can manage these modules.
