Is there any possibility to group people in contacts? If there is such a possibility can I add one person to more than one group ? To be more precise I am testing Version 4.0.0beta. I would be grateful for your help.
Best regards

Hi all!
I have similar problems. I'd like to group people together, not just under one account.
I thought about creating some quasi-accounts, i.e. an account where I add these persons but which is not really an account. But the problem with this is that in the persons view only one account is shown. This is also a problem when one persons is working for more than one company.
So I'm interested if there is a way to see ALL accounts a specific persons belongs to or alternativly if there is any way how to group persons together?
Best Regards
Good to see I'm not alone.
I like Sugar. Lack of contact grouping is the only thing that stops me from going gung ho with this solution.![]()
Just FYI, there is a thread in the Feature Request forum on this same topic:

If you have a little patient, then in 4.5 will be your solution.
There will be a safe search criteria and multiple selection box in the studio.
When can we expect 4.5?

I read the post and could not quite see how it relates to saved groups.
I assume you are talking about saved queries.
A group is more akin to ou concept of a prospect list where there is no logical distinction between one contact and another so you cant filter for it.
For example, my golf buddies or my good customers.
You should be able to define this and then filter on a saved group.
I guess we could create a prodpect list but you would need to allo this to be selected in searches and reports etc.
