Default How to collaborate on simple text documents

    Hi,

I am looking to integrate some sort of Wiki / text document collaboration in a very simple manner: I just want some text field to be shared between everyone, so we can note down some basic things.

I figured it use the Document section, but that involves uploading and downloading files. I really need basic stuff, and need to keep it simple for some people :-).

Some of like the "Notes" parts of an account/contact/lead, but not associated with anyone, but global.

Is such a thing in Sugar and I just can't find it?

We have a customised Cases module that splits cases into: Description, Update, History and Resolution and delivers thread like sections for every post detailing who posted and when together with text content of that post ... it's a 5.2 version ... it's not available as a loadable module but if you wish I could zip the code.

Thanks alot. I appreciate, but for reasons of maintenance though I'd rather stick with vanilla code and modules. SugarCRM is important but I can't have this product take too much effort when time comes to upgrade.

I definitely appreciate the offer though
