How to create a dropdown filled with values from database

In account section I have added a new field "checkbox" and a new dropdown.

When I create a new account or edit I'm going to select the checkbox on some accounts.

My question is: I want all accounts that have checkbox selected to be added in the dropdown.

Is this possible?

It is pretty possible.
You can create a custom controller for Accounts and implement the function action_detailview and action_editview.
Then you can fill the field with the accounts whose checkbox is checked.
