    Admin->User management

    Check (checkbox) user and scrolldown and you'll see Delete button

    I'm having this problem too - sorry Superman, but I still don't see the delete button . I go into Admin, User Management. Here I see all users. I can't see the function to delete on this page, nor when I actually click on a user and the buttons "Edit", "Change password" or "Duplicate" display.

    Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

    It seems to be a bug. There is no checkbox available
    While I could see links: Check all / Clear all

    I'm using sugar 3.5.1a

    Actually you cannot delete users - only make them inactive, or rename them. This is because the are the foundation of the Sugar data model - and there are way to omany places in the system where data would become potentially orphaned or broken if one could delete users.

    Just mark them inactive - and after several months - re-cycle them as another user name.

    Man, that's poor!

    How can I recycle old users names for new users, without getting the settings and links of the old user to the new one?

    Migrating linked content to a different user (as a successor) and deleting the user afterwards would be the best way. Especially deleting demo users must be possible.

    I know, this thread is a bit old, but I saw another one with a similar topic and as I'm using the lates version (5.2) of sugar, and there is still noch way to delete users, I'm very disappointed.

    Hello EarlGrey,

    the notion behind not deleting users is that if there is a record that is assigned to, created by, or modified by the user that you are trying to delete, then all that history is lost. If you really need to delete a user, then you will need to do so from the database.

    You cannot delete the user account. As an administrator you can inactivate the user.

    This is freaking AMAZINGLY POOR software ... Version 5.2 and so prone to errors. I will stop recommending my clients using this system immediately.
