How do you add subscription payments

Hello all, just getting started with SugarCE. I have added accounts, clients and opportunities. In the opportunities I have added dates and amounts for the first payment of a monthly subscription. Is there a way to add this other than putting in an opportunity for each month? I'd like to see and measure how long the continuity runs per client.

Sugar doesn't support recurring items, but you might want to give this project a look:
