How do you do custom fields?

Hello

I'm new to the SugarCRM software -- I'm working with a new client that has got Sugar Open Source Version 4.0 -- and they want to import their Access database into Sugar. I'm going to assume they will have to upgrade to Version 4.5....

They have fields in Access that aren't similar to the fields in Sugar -- I've looked through the forum and can't find information on how you can add custom fields for the contacts as well for leads.

Trust me you will see tons of questions from me....

Hi,

First take a look at the Sugar documenation about the Studio component http://www.sugarcrm.com/docs/Adminis...ration.3.6.htm

Fields added through the Studio component are available in the Import Wizard when importing Accounts, Contacts and Leadsl
