    Angry how do you Keep records together

    I am having this problem
    I created 2 new modules one for clients and another for subscriptions
    using 5.2.0F
    we have 5 staff
    when i create a client my user id is assigned
    when I create a payment my user id is assigned

    When i assign a client to another staff member he can't see payments associated with the client unless
    I also assign the payments

    client module has relate field to payment module
    is this normal
    I have ceteams and even though both staff are in the same team they still can't see the payment unless assigned to them

    Roles is also set to owner I can let them see all or own

    My question is why does client not show payments when clients are reassigned
    I hope I am wrong here as this is not what I would expect
    Because hundred of payments could be involved each time ?

    Hi again
    those anybody know if this is normal that when you assign a contact to another
    user you have to assign all cases linked to that account as well.
    I am using teams and when I assign a contact to another person the cases cannot be viewed by the new user
    because he is not part of that team. This makes sugar useless or a least very unfriendly

    since I don't see any one asking about this I have to assume this is not normal for sugar

    I just need someone to tell me if this is the case because I am going around in circles

    Hello,

    this is normal behavior. The idea is that you can allow certain people to see a record, but not necessarily all the related records.

    Within each list view, there is a mass update panel. In your case, you can perform a search in the list view, check off the case records you want to change the team for, and use the mass update panel to update the value of the Team.
