How to get report of users logging in and when?

Can you generate a report of authorized users that logged into/out of the system and when? We are on Sugar 4.0.1.

The SugarCRM authentication module isn't logging login attempts anywhere, so there isn't an audit trail to report against. If you know SQL and PHP you can create an audit table and extend the Users module to log, but I suppose upgrades would overwrite you modified module.

Has anyone talked about adding the login logging? I'm going to go look at the ldap module right now to see if it goes down that road at all. Basically, I want to be able to see if an employee is logging in outside of our domain for security reasons.
