How to handle online advertising orders (plugin?) ?

Hello, I'm using sugar to manage clients for online advertising for a larger network of publishers and advertisers (like the typical online advertising agency).

Is there a way to manage the orders by the advertisers in an ongoing overview? Perhabs as a plugin or add-on to sugar?

This should produce a list that looks something like this:

date from, to - campaign - client - agency - used ads - uses websites - budget brutto - budget netto - notes

and with a pracitcal example:

1.jan.09. 14.jan.09 - coca-cola zero - coca cola - mediacom - flash-layer, superbanner - $10.000 - $8.000 - starts 2 days late

I currently use excel in addition but isolated from sugar for this. It would be great if one could also make a summary on a monthly and yearly basis on the revenues.


This must be a typical need in the (online) media buying and advertising industry, so maybe there is something to handle this with sugar and connect it with the crm dates.

Any suggestions as a plugin or how to do this? Thanks!

I'd be creating a custom module and relate it to the accounts module. It's pretty simple and gives you exactly what you need.
For your additional needs (reports, graphics) you may want to consider the pro version or some external or semi integrated tool (like Zucker).

We've worked on exactly this functionality with a client. Including be able to see all the parties of a campaign against an opportunity and creating sales orders. Would be happy to discuss.

roblaus, thanks for this advice. I'm still pretty new to sugar, so creating a custom module would be something a have to look into. Are there any other ready to use plugins to manage media buys ?
