We are a small tech company with a hardware product (the "box"). Customers are large organisations, and they want to test the box before using it. Is there any way (by [ab]using an existing module, or even a 3rd party add-on), to create shipping documents for the samples, provide a simple lsit view, and allow to take a sample back from a customer?

Long explanation: Our ERP is Navision. Sending a device out via Navision has a lot of unwanted financial implications. From a Navision point of view, the test samples are in a virtual storage room, and we need another non-financial program that keeps track of where the devices actually are. This program shoudl have all the customer data ready, so it makes no sense to use Word and Excel. -> would be best to use SugarCRM for it I suppose...
